Wi-Fi Downtown? Almost There!
Slowly but surely, my hometown looks like it is finally going to get into wireless Internet access. The Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership and City Council have put together a plan to make downtown Pittsburgh a hot spot. The legislation to make this dream a reality wiil be introduced this week. I, for one, am hoping that everything can come together and make this work.
Other cities have wi-fi networks in place and I think that the time has come for Pittsburgh to join this exclusive new club. Having it done in time for the All Star game would be a bonus and would definitely make the city look good to all of the visitors coming in for the game from around the country.
