Why You Can’t Vote For Hillary Clinton

There’s been lots and lots of talk about the upcoming primary vote here in Pennsylvania on April 22. Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton have been traveling back and forth across our glorious commonwealth stumping for votes. I’m not endorsing Obama with these comments, but I gotta tell you why you cannot vote for Hillary Clinton. Here’s how things could play out if Hillary Clinton is elected president:

  1. Hillary is elected president of the United States.
  2. Hillary rewards her friend and political ally, Governor Ed Rendell, with a cabinet position.
  3. Governor Rendell must resign in order to take the position.
  4. Catherine Baker Knoll becomes governor of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (just like Mark Schweiker did when Gov. Ridge was nominated (and confirmed) as the first Secretary of Homeland Security.

Please read #4 again. If Hillary wins, CBK becomes our governor. You know — the same woman that has referred to Governor Rendell as Edward G. Robinson on a number of occasions in public settings. The woman that shows up uninvited at the funeral for an Iraqi war veteran — and then hands out her business card.

What’s that? You say that you couldn’t imagine her as our governor? Good. Join the club. And make sure not to vote for Hillary Clinton on April 22 — or get used to hearing Governor Knoll in 2009.

And don’t forget her embarrassing antics when the Clintons were in town and she shoved aside our mayor and county executive during a rally. The state Democratic Party should be ashamed of themselves. She needs to go.

yep…we would hate to have 8 years of prosperity like we did under the last Clinton administration :-)
