Vacant See?
Am I the only one that find it interesting that the Vatican is selling “vacant see” stamps for the period during which there is no pope? I know that the Holy See is the Pope and the Roman Curia, but I think it’s funny that they call the absence of a Pope a “vacant see”. So is it a “vacancy” that causes a “vacant see”? Or can we say that the “vacant see” is a vacancy?
