Unimaginable Tragedy
In another sign that God should just wipe the slate clean here on Earth and start over — a father of three children walked into an Amish schoolhouse and took 10 girls hostage. He then proceeded to shoot all of them execution style — you know, gun to the back of the head — killing five of them and wounding the others. The work of a spineless coward.
How does someone actually plan this out and do this? How does the father of three small children himself do this to other people’s children? What was the reason for ending the lives of children? How evil can someone actually be?!?!
This whole incident has rocked me to the core of my soul. I don’t know if it is because I’m a father of two children or it’s because we actually stayed in Lancaster County this summer in the town where that schoolhouse is. We had taken a buggy ride during our time there and met some very nice Amish people. My wife and I both stated how beautiful and peaceful it was in the countryside.
May God give these families the strength to deal with this unimaginable tragedy. Events like this are just bringing us one step closer to Armageddon. Our world gets worse every day.
