Two Times, Two Bad
Everyone knows that I am a HUGE Steelers fan. That being said — I am still amazed that we won the game tonight. We’ve been an excellent team all year, but tonight we looked nothing like any of our previous games. Thank God we have a great defense because they (and our kicker Jeff Reed) helped save the game for us. I cannot believe that Doug Brien missed BOTH field goal attempts. I really thought we were done for.
I hope that we’ve gotten this bad game out of us because I don’t know that I can handle us losing our 4th championship games in the past 10 years. I was fortunate enough to be at the game in 1995 when we beat the Indianapolis Colts — and I’m going to the game next week — so I hope that I’ll be able to witness another winning game and our entry into the Super Bowl.
