The Future Of Music - Brought to you by Trent Reznor

Anyone that knows me, knows that I love Nine Inch Nails. I’ve seen Trent and the boys a number of times in concert and have bought every CD that he’s come out with. Trent’s latest release, Ghosts I-IV is the first album (or in this case 4 albums) that he has released after being ending his contract with Interscope Records.

Ghosts is being released by Trent himself and he’s offering us 5 different ways to get the music. If you want it for free, you get 9 songs (out of 36) or you can spend $300 and get the super deluxe version with autographed sets of LPs, artwork and other items. I personally opted for the 320kbps MP3 package of all 36 songs for $5 — which was a whopping 270MB zip file.

I listened to all of the songs today and Ghosts is amazing. It is purely instrumental and goes from very somber and quiet to full on industrial beats pounding through your earhole. It’s a fantastic addition to my NIN collection and a job well done by the boy from Mercer, PA.
