The Battle Starts In South Dakota
In a bold move today, the South Dakota state senate passed legislation banning abortions throughout their state. Surprisingly, the bill was introduced by a Democractic senator, Senator Julie Bartling. This vote is looked at as the beginning of a nationwide movement regarding a reevaluation of the Roe vs. Wade court case — especially with the addition of Justices Roberts and Alito to the United States Supreme Court.
To Senator Bartling and her colleagues in South Dakota, I say thank you. Keep up the good fight to protect the lives of the innocent, unborn children in your state and the country!
