Polk Brothers Roofing and Heating
I was driving down Butler Street in Lawrenceville this morning to head to a client’s business and I remembed that I didn’t have a picture of the billboard that has been on the side of my grandpa’s old business.
My great-grandfather Philip Polk started Polk Brothers Roofing and Heating when he emigrated to the United States from Austria. He turned the business over to my grandfather and his brothers. My grandpa ended up taking over the company and then passing it down to my uncle Tim who runs it to this day. It was just a bit nostalgic to see the billboard and I wanted to make sure I had a copy of it for historical purposes since that billboard won’t be up forever!
