Madia For Congress
I don’t live in Minnesota, but if I did, I’d vote for this guy. This is one of the best campaign advertisements I’ve ever seen. No mudslinging, no BS…just the badass United States Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon.
You’re Darn Right We’re The Best
Sports Illustrated’s Ross Tucker published a great article today about how the Pittsburgh Steelers have the best fan base in all of professional sports. Tell me something I don’t know!
The news out of Jacksonville Monday morning that approximately 25 percent of the fans for Sunday night’s Steelers-Jags contest were waving yellow Terrible Towels came as no surprise to me. The Steelers have the most dominant fan base in the National Football League and their ability to consistently travel, en masse, and infest other team’s stadiums gives the Steelers a competitive advantage that no other franchise can claim.
My Man Fareed
Fareed Zakaria, the editor of Newsweek magazine, has posted two great articles online — one on CNN and one on Newsweek — about why the selection of Sarah Palin as VP was such a terrible choice. People make think that she is being ganged up on but her selection shows poor decision making for his campaign which would probably continue if he is elected president.

ABC Panel Rips Into McCain
Senator McCain must have fallen off his chair if he was watching this morning’s “This Week with George Stephanopolous”. Each episode has a roundtable discussion and everyone on the panel (including conservative writer George Will) ripped McCain a new arse about his recent comments about the financial crisis. I loved it when George Will said that he sounded very “un-presidential”. Damn that’s gotta hurt!
She’s Not Ready
I’ve been using Facebook a lot recently and I’ve decided to start posting all of the articles here that I’ve been posting over there. These articles, “She’s Not Ready” and “Gov. Palin’s Worldview” continue to highlight the various reasons why picking Governor Palin was a bad idea for John McCain and for our country.
