Now There Are Two
Where there were three, now there are four. Where there was one, there are now two. Where there was possessiveness, now must come sharing.
Emily Marie Polk entered our world on Wednesday, December 17, 2003 at 3:00 AM. She was supposed to have been induced 4 hours later. I think she knew that we wanted her to come out, so she decided to make her own grand entrance. Melissa was quite happy with her arrival since she was only in labor at the hospital for 40 minutes. We (and the doctors) were surprised to find out that she was already 8 centimeters dialated when we got there. Emily and mommy are resting comfortably at the hospital.
