My Big Fat Head
My friend Blaise Larotonda was elected as the district justice for Mt. Lebanon and Dormont. I created his campaign web site (click on his name to see site) and assisted with placing signs around town and passing out literature too. I was very glad to see him win.
In order for him to assume office, he needed to attend a “swearing in” ceremony. I cannot honestly remember what that is called to save my life. Anyways…I attended his “swearing in” because I was so happy that he won the election (kicked everyone ass in the primaries!). And of course, the newspapers were there. They took a ton of pictures, as expected. What I didn’t realized was that my big fat head would be in the center of the picture. You can only see the side of Blaise’s face and you can’t even see his wife or kids — but you see my big fat head smack dab in the middle of the picture. Why the heck didn’t they get a better picture of him and his family? I didn’t need to be in the picture!!
