It Took A Judge’s Order…
..but I’m glad to see that Yahoo has given the family of a dead Marine his email. The family knew that their son had an email account because he would email them from Iraq to let them know what was going on. Unfortunately, after he died, they wanted access to the account, but Yahoo refused citing privacy concerns for the deceased soldier.
I know this article is two months old, but I just found it today while browsing MSNBC’s web site. I had heard about this story, but I never knew how it ended up until I read the article today.
