		<description>It&#039;s unfortunate but societies (even &quot;great&quot; ones) only have so many resources.  That $275 investment will likely save taxpayers a lot of welfare and crime related costs in the long term.  Especially from the articles lovely portrayal of the drug mother.

I&#039;m sure you&#039;re aware of the research linking the reduction in crime in the 90&#039;s with the legalization of abortion only one generation prior.

It&#039;s unfortunate but unwanted children are conceived every day.  The US doesn&#039;t have the resources to take care of them and neither do the people popping them out.  And more unfortunately, there isn&#039;t some sort of test that can be applied to people before they get into trouble.

So unless some pro life institution puts its money where its protests are (it&#039;s easy to condemn something when you don&#039;t have a stake in it now isn&#039;t it) then make the money available.  And forget the loan, just give it to them.</description>
