Death March Through D.C.
The babykillers marched through Washington, D.C. today in support of their “choice” to control their own bodies and murder the baby in their womb.
I could not believe it as I watched the news and listened to the people talking from the podium or from the march itself. The march was “to defend our choice and control of own bodies”. Funny thing — when does that choice start? Who has it? Why do they have it?
These women claim that it is their right to murder their baby (they call it “having an abortion”) because it is their choice to do so. Ask them what it is called when someone is walking down the street and is killed when someone shoots them with a gun. Was it their choice to be shot and killed? No, they had no control in the matter. Someone else made the choice for them. I can’t think of anyone that would be happy to be murdered because they have lost their choice to live.
The same thing applies with regards to abortion. The baby in the womb (yes it is a life, and not some mass of cells) has its own choice according to these people. We all have this choice to control our own bodies — right?
Well then, if that is the case, why don’t these babies have a say in the matter? Life starts at conception and that baby’s life CONTINUES (not begins) at the time of their birth. They have been alive for 9 months inside their mother’s body and have grown from the sperm and egg to a chilld. There is no mistaking that there is a life inside of a woman during pregnancy — regardless of which trimester she is in. This is why abortion is murder. This is why today’s march digusts me to the depth of my soul. Tens of thousans of women and men marched today to defend their right to murder babies. It’s that plain and simple. This is not about choice because the baby is not being given one during the process of their development.
These people claim that they are afraid of losing their rights because of the passage of the Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act and the Unborn Victims Of Violence Act. Why are they afraid? Because each of these acts validates the fact that there is a living, breathing human being inside of a woman during pregnancy. Their “choice” is murder and the passage of these acts only proves that fact.
I went to church tonight and I watched the news beforehand. I prayed for these people in the hope that they would truly realize what their “choice” means — the murder of children in the womb — and that they would change their minds and defend the lives of these babies. Some of the pro-life people protesting at the march today were exactly these kinds of people. They realized the errors of their ways and chose to defend life, instead of advocating the murder of babies.
