Maine Gay Marriage Law Repealed

// November 4th, 2009 // No Comments » // People Suck, Politics

Citizens of Maine — thanks for taking a step backwards and treating your fellow human beings like second class citizens.  I’ll make sure not to vacation there anytime soon. No point in rewarding your closed minds with my money.

Thanks Senator Argall. You’re such a visionary. 44 years for a smaller legislature. What a freakin’ joke. How about getting behind Rep. Mustio’s and Senator Pippy’s reduction plans? At least THEY get it!

Covering Up Jesus At Georgetown

// April 16th, 2009 // No Comments » // Give Me A Break!, Politics, Religion

Will someone please tell me why it was necessary to cover the name of Jesus during President Obama’s speech at Georgetown? What’s the point of speaking there if you cover up anything that makes it recognizable? People are not going to think that he is a proponent of the university or their beliefs just because he has spoken there. I think you should be respectful to the place that you’re speaking at — otherwise, what’s the point of being there? When he speaks at GM, does he cover up the GM logos as to not offend Ford or Chevy?

Ohio College Removes Sculpture Showing Sex Act

// March 25th, 2009 // No Comments » // Give Me A Break!, News Stories, Politics

Am I the only one that actually supports Bowling Green State University on this decision? A sculpture showing a middle school girl performing a sex act on her teacher? Are you kidding me? What the hell has happened to our society that a sculpture like that is considered acceptable and that having it removed is censorship?

Obama To Rescind Bush Abortion Rule

// February 28th, 2009 // No Comments » // Politics, Pro Life

I know that President Obama is very pro-choice, but rescinding this rule is just ridiculous. You are asking people to go against their conscience and perform something that appalls them. I wish I could say that this 30 review period would help to change his mind, but we all know that’s not the truth.
